Stereo
Stereo

Stereo by Clifford Oliver - performance and workshop programme for Key Stage 4 Citizenship now booking for autumn 2006

Originally commissioned by the Avon & Somerset Criminal Justice Board to explore the journey of a 16 year-old boy through the Criminal Justice System, Arc's Stereo programme was first produced for schools in 2005.

Due to exceptional demand, Stereo returns to secondary schools this autumn as a powerful and effective new resource to support the teaching of National Curriculum Citizenship for Years 10 and 11. With particular reference to Unit 2 (Crime - young people and car crime) and Unit 3 (Challenging racism and discrimination) of the QCA Schemes of Work, the Stereo programme provides a challenging and engaging tool for stimulating debate amongst young people. The programme can also be used across other areas of the curriculum, including English, PSHE, Drama, RE and Social Sciences at both Key Stage 4 and in the Sixth Form.

Touring from 18 September 2006, Stereo has already been scheduled for schools and venues in Enfield, Hackney, Barnet and a residency at the Tricycle Theatre in Brent. Stereo can be booked as a half-day performance and workshop programme, for a maximum audience of 120. Up to two, half-day programmes can take place in one school, per day - please contact us for the latest availability.

Places on this tour are limited and we would advise early booking to secure dates. For more details or to reserve dates, contact Natalie Smith, Arc's Community Education Manager on 020 8594 1095 or email nat@arctheatre.com
