Arc news: January 2008

Happy New Year from Arc

Arc looks forward to an exciting 2008!

With a calendar of crisp new projects and special events already lined up, Arc is delighted to announce a fresh New Year of theatre and drama-based opportunities.

As a sneak preview of the next few months, we can tell you that we are preparing Tasty Tales - a Healthy Eating programme for Barking & Dagenham primary schools; Falling Over - a hard-hitting new initiative tackling Alcohol and Violent Crime for Havering Community Safety Partnership; a series of workshops for the Metropolitan Police, and a brand new drama project in Moscow and St Petersburg for the British Embassy in Russia!

Meanwhile, as Barking & Dagenham Youth Theatre continue rehearsals for Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at the Broadway Theatre on 1 to 3 April, we are also making arrangements for our imminent move to our brand new premises - The Malthouse Studios in Abbey Road, Barking!

All this to follow alongside our ongoing programmes for primary and secondary schools, including Stepping Stones for the Children's Fund and the Stereo weapons and crime programme for KS3. So check back regularly for all the latest news and events at Arc!
